Partner Interim Management - Executive Search

Wouter 2 (1X1)

Wouter van Tienhoven comes from EY and joined Kruger in 2008, where he set up the interim management and executive search practice. The strength of the collaboration between the consultants, interim management and executive search lies in the combination of restructuring advice from the consultancy practice and the implementation power of (interim) management. After placing the (interim) manager, including at statutory level, the involvement remains high, both in terms of content and from a risk management perspective.

"Since 2001, I have been active in the field of interim management in crisis, restructuring and change management situations and executive search. I have a large network of (interim) managers and professionals in the areas of management, line management and finance, a number of whom are exclusively affiliated with us. I monitor all current assignments myself. This involves striking a balance between the interests of the company and the human aspect. Integrity, respect, ethics and confidentiality are core values in my work. In practice, this means that we work with clients with respect for the history of the company and its original mission. Necessary decisions are made and implemented, but always with consideration for the people affected.

In addition, we are regularly asked to supervise recruitment and selection processes at MT and management level. We undertake these executive search processes on a “no cure no pay” basis, but on the basis of exclusivity, and we see that this is proving successful.

In recent years, I have also been actively involved in organising and facilitating leadership trails in collaboration with the FNL (Foundation for Natural Leadership). The programme takes place largely in unspoilt nature. Far away from the familiar and from the daily routine, we simplify and slow down. Taking a step back from daily life, without a phone, computer or watch – connecting with nature, peace and space – setting out with your own personal questions – moments of silence and reflection – the answers you find – the agreements you make with yourself – the change this brings about in you. I would like to share this beautiful and valuable experience with others in this leadership programme."
