Erwin grew up in an entrepreneurial family and studied Economics at the Erasmus School of Economics. During and after his studies, he gained entrepreneurial experience in the golf market and tutoring. In 2016, he joined Kruger as a consultant.
"Lack of profitability or a liquidity problem is visible in the financial figures. But to find workable solutions, a broad understanding of the business and the market is necessary. Getting to the bottom of the entire organisation in a short period of time to eventually arrive at pragmatic solutions together with the board, management and stakeholders gives a lot of energy.
We get to do this work for all kinds of medium-sized companies, in different sectors and for various special issues. Special issues include lack of profitability, liquidity problems, merger & acquisition or strategy recalibration.
The variety of situations, sectors and above all people makes the work very varied and keeps triggering curiosity."
