Cornee studied Business Administration and Financial Law in Rotterdam. During his student days, he started as an entrepreneur in quality and health & safety management, became director of a medium-sized company and then joined Kruger as a consultant. He has seen almost all industries and became a partner at Kruger in 2010.
"My day-to-day work: being an advisor and confidant on non-ordinary issues, such as lack of profitability, rapid growth, financing needs, strategic reorientation or (selling) of company. This requires a broad frame of reference, business knowledge, love of business, network and stakeholder trust. That is what Kruger adds. Pragmatic and to-the-point. Reports are only there to communicate with third parties. I have been with Kruger since 2006, contributing to the expansion of services and the steady growth of the firm. I am curious and make quick connections between different issues, individuals and companies, and stakeholders. As a result, I also have many permanent counsel positions, as added value is perceived. One topic that particularly interests me is dismissal law in the Netherlands. Precisely because it is so inflexible and (too) costly. In addition, the valuation of companies has my interest, as this is a subject where theory and unruly practice diverge (too) much, with all its consequences.
Why Kruger as a consultant? When things get special for you, we just do our job."
