International focus

Aron, born and raised in Deventer and currently based in Rotterdam, joined Kruger in early November 2023. After high school, he opted for a Bachelor in International Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam, driven by his fascination with the international aspects of business and his interest in business. "In a globalising world, international cooperation is essential to achieve maximum results," he says.
This was followed by a Masters in Accounting and Financial Management, also obtained at Erasmus University Rotterdam. This choice reflected his desire to further deepen and specialise his knowledge in financial management.

Previous work experience

After his studies, Aron started his career at EY, where he worked in audit for two years. Despite his dedication, there he missed the opportunity to actually help companies move forward. His desire to have more impact took him to an international scale-up environment, where he started as financial controller and quickly rose to team lead. The dynamics inside a scale-up allow you to make great strides. As it is said, "Within a multinational you have someone for every problem, within a scale-up you have no one for every problem." This caused Aron to delve into a wide range of topics. Over time, the need for a new challenge arose.

Next step

This need led Aron to Kruger, where he takes on the role of Restructuring Consultant. The move to Kruger was a conscious choice for Aron, driven by his urge to actively contribute to companies and actually help them move forward. The opportunity to look ahead and support companies immediately appealed to him. "It's precisely the kind of clients that allow you to work closely with entrepreneurs, right up to the edge."

Added to this is the fact that the culture at Kruger appealed to him enormously. Direct, heart for the business and clients, always expert, but also strong together.

At Kruger, he gets the chance to combine his financial expertise with his desire to help companies realise their potential.
