Aron, born and raised in Deventer and currently based in Rotterdam, has been working at Kruger since early November 2023. After secondary school, he chose to pursue a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam, driven by his fascination with the international aspects of doing business and his interest in the business world. ‘In a globalising world, international cooperation is essential to achieve maximum results.’
This was followed by a Master's degree in Accounting and Financial Management, also obtained at Erasmus University Rotterdam. This choice reflected his desire to further deepen and specialise his knowledge of financial management.
After graduating, Aron began his career at EY, where he worked in auditing for two years. Despite his dedication, he missed the opportunity to actually help companies move forward. His desire to have more impact led him to an international scale-up environment, where he started as a financial controller and quickly rose to team lead. The dynamics within a scale-up allow you to make great strides. As the saying goes, ‘In a multinational, you have someone for every problem; in a scale-up, you have no one for every problem.’ This has led Aron to delve into a wide range of topics. Over time, the need for a new challenge arose.
This need led Aron to Kruger, where he takes on the role of Restructuring Consultant. The move to Kruger was a conscious choice for Aron, driven by his desire to actively contribute to companies and really help them move forward. The opportunity to look ahead and support businesses immediately appealed to him. ‘It is precisely this type of client that allows you to work closely with entrepreneurs, right at the cutting edge.’
In addition, he is very attracted to the culture at Kruger. Direct, passionate about the business and customers, always professional, but also strong together.
