Data processing (general)
We respect the privacy of all customers, contacts and website users. We ensure that the personal information (personal data), which you provide to us will be treated confidentially and used only for the purposes stated in this privacy policy. This privacy policy applies exclusively to Kruger's services. You should be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy policies of other sites, which can be accessed via a link on our website. You have the option to request that we view, change, or delete your personal data at any time. Also, when a digital newsletter is sent, you can always indicate whether or not you want to be removed from the mailing list. In case you have a request about your personal data, please contact us, our contact details are at the bottom of this privacy policy.

Purposes of processing personal data
We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • If you fill in the contact form on our website: to process and respond to your enquiry.
  • If you are signed up for the newsletter: to send our newsletter by e-mail.
  • Data collected with cookies is processed for the purposes shown below, under 'cookies'.
  • If you are a job applicant: to process your application and assess your suitability, to communicate with you about the application, for our administration around job applications.
  • If you are a (hired) candidate for Kruger Interim Management and Kruger Executive Search: to process your application and test your suitability, to broker you with clients, to put you in contact with clients, to be able to communicate with you; if you are hired or hired by a client: to handle financial compensation, to fulfil obligations around financial administration and to be able to communicate with the client about you.
  • If you are a client or a contact with a client: to communicate with you, to fulfil the agreement (assignment) with you or with the organisation you work for, to maintain a commercial relationship with you, to share knowledge with you, for our CRM administration, to fulfil obligations around financial administration.
  • If you are another contact, such as from a supplier: to be able to communicate with you, for our CRM administration, to fulfil obligations around financial administration.

Some data is necessary to enter into an agreement with you and to comply with legal obligations, without it we cannot enter into the agreement with you.

Legal basis for processing personal data
We process your personal data on the following legal grounds:

  • Because it is necessary for the performance of an agreement to which you are a party or to take action at your request before the conclusion of the agreement;
  • Because it is necessary to comply with legal obligations incumbent on us, including those relating to the maintenance of financial records;
  • Because it is necessary for our legitimate interests or those of a third party and your interests are not overriding, these interests are in summary: the interest to be able to communicate with you, the interest to be able to communicate with our principals about you and to handle our financial reimbursement, to be able to execute the agreement with our principals, to maintain a (commercial) relationship with you, to keep contact records;
  • Based on your consent, if you give it to us in specific cases. You can revoke consent again; the revocation will then apply for the future.

Provision to third parties
Kruger may use other service providers to process personal data. These service providers may act as processors. In that case, they may only process the personal data on our behalf in accordance with the purposes for which the data were obtained. Kruger concludes a processor agreement with these processors. The processors are based in the Netherlands, with the exception of Google (see below) and our newsletter service provider, which is based in the United States. Our newsletter service provider ensures an appropriate level of protection of your personal data.

When cookies are set (see more on this below, under 'cookies'), data is shared with parties setting the cookies, including Google.

We also have to provide data to our accountant/accountant based in the Netherlands, this involves limited personal data that appears in the financial records.

We may be required to share certain personal data with government agencies, such as the Tax Office.

Cookies
This website uses cookies. These are small text files placed on your computer by the internet browser. The following types of cookies are placed through this website:

A. Functional cookies
These cookies are used to make the website more user-friendly by storing certain user preferences. For example, to remember that you have already viewed certain pages or to hold certain display preferences. These cookies are stored for 12 months.

B. Cookies for website analysis
Through our website, a cookie is set by the US company Google, as part of the 'Analytics' service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or insofar as third parties process the information on Google's behalf. We have no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

The information collected by Google is anonymised as much as possible. Your IP address is expressly not provided. The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google states that it adheres to the Privacy Shield principles. This means that there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data. For more information, please consult the Privacy Shield website. These cookies are stored for 24 months.

C. Google Maps
This website uses the Google Maps service. This allows a geographical map to be displayed on websites. It can also be used to create route descriptions. Various cookies are set when using Google Maps, for example to remember the zoom level.

The information collected by Google is anonymised as much as possible. Your IP address is expressly not given. The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google states that it adheres to the Privacy Shield principles. This means that there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data. Turning cookies on and off and deleting them
All browsers allow you to indicate the extent to which you allow cookies in the settings or options. If you cannot find these settings, you can consult your browser's help function. Your browser also allows you to view the current cookies on your computer and delete them if necessary. Without cookies, some functions of this website may not work as well or at all.

Applicants
When we are looking for new employees for our organisation, we may use recruitment agencies to do so. We then receive your application data (e.g. basic data and CV) from such agencies. We record your data in a database. If you enter our employment, we will inform you via a separate statement/letter about the processing of your personal data as your employer.

Kruger Interim Management and Kruger Executive Search
We may include the personal data you provide for an interim assignment, an application, registration, application or when otherwise using our Interim Management and Executive Search services in a database.

Retention periods
Data we receive via the contact form will in principle be retained for two years, or longer if necessary, for example because we are entering into an agreement with you, or your organisation.

Your e-mail address will remain in our newsletter database until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.

Cookies are stored for the periods indicated above, under 'cookies'.

The retention period for candidates who are not hired (job applicants) or mediated (Kruger Interim Management and Executive Search) is set by us according to the directive of the Personal Data Authority at 12 months from the date of the candidate's consent. If a candidate does not wish to be included in the system, but wishes to be part of an application procedure, the candidate's data will be retained for up to 4 weeks after the end of the procedure in question. You always have the right to withdraw this consent, in which case we will remove your data from the system.

Data of candidates who do get mediated, we will keep for the duration of the assignment. We keep data relating to an assignment for five years after the end of the assignment, data in our financial records for up to seven years. After the end of an assignment, we will leave your basic data (contact details, CV, etc.) in our system for as long as you wish. You can then always indicate that you wish to be removed from the system, in which case we will delete your data from the system. We keep data of (contacts at) customers and suppliers for the duration of the relationship we have with you, or the organisation you work for. Data relevant in connection with an agreement with you or the organisation you work for will be retained for five years after the end of the agreement, data in our financial records will be retained for up to seven years. We will leave contact details in the system until you no longer want them. You can always request to be removed from the system, in which case we will remove your data from the system.

Questions about privacy?
Among other things, you have the right to request access to your personal data, to request its rectification, restriction or deletion, the right to object to processing and - if applicable - the right to data portability. In addition, you have the right to file a complaint with the privacy regulator. In the Netherlands, this is the Personal Data Authority.

For requests about your personal data, please contact Kruger using the contact details below. We would ask you to specify this request as much as possible in order to provide you with the best possible service. We may refuse certain requests, we will let you know.
