Leadership consists of skills and personal growth. An authentic leader needs both. While many postgraduate and executive programmes focus mainly on leadership skills, wilderness trails focus on personal growth.
Peace and simplicity are two key pillars during the trails. Not distracted by the stimuli of modern life, there is time to increase self-awareness, explore and deepen your own values and allow yourself space for reflection and focus. Led by facilitators and with nature as an endless source of inspiration, you will discover your leadership potential, your drives, talents, creativity and intuition.
In 2024, following the programmes in 2021, 2022 and 2023, we are again offering the ‘Wilderness Leadership Transformation Programme’ of which the wilderness trail in Italy in autumn is the highlight. The trail will take us to Italy's oldest protected natural area just over two hours' drive from Rome: Abruzzo National Park. Abruzzo is one of the best places in Europe to spot wildlife. The area is known for its unusual brown bear population, the wolf packs that roam there and the large number of foxes, deer, wild boar, chamois, otters, lynxes, semi-wild horses and raptor species, including eagles and vultures. The park is also home to 500-year-old beech forests, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and rugged mountains.
