Intervention and implementation of ‘quick wins’ and a plan of action

The goal is short-term recovery and future success. Based on a plan of action, we implement improvements. This can be done by connecting to the work of our consultants. Or by tackling issues independently. These include:

Quick wins

The interim manager is expected to achieve short-term successes by implementing ‘quick wins’. The time horizon for this is often several months and is strongly focused on cash management in the broadest sense of the word. These short-term focused actions with associated results are incidentally part of the recovery plan.

Recovery plan

When an interim manager starts, he draws up a Plan of Action within a few weeks. This recovery plan focuses on structural improvements. To this end, he uses existing documentation and research as much as possible and conducts interviews with key internal and external stakeholders. His plan focuses concretely on:

  • What needs to be done?
  • When should it be ready?
  • Who is involved and who is responsible for each action first?
  • What preconditions are there to make it a success?

Implementation will take place after approval of the recovery plan by the client.

While the recovery plan is being drawn up, the interim manager is active in implementing quick wins.
