Who are we?

Kruger Interim Management is a boutique interim management agency with the substantive backing of a strong consultancy practice. We focus on special situations: growth, transition or (near) crisis at PE-backed and entrepreneur-led SMEs in the profit sector. Our network consists of professionals whom we know personally and have seen perform; relationships built on years of collaboration, trust and professionalism. As a result, we not only deliver quickly, but above all appropriately: candidates who fit the role, context and phase and who noticeably advance the work from day one.

What are we doing?

In medium-sized companies, management and finance positions are often decisive for success. Filling these key roles on a temporary basis requires more than just a good CV. It is about experience, personality and, above all, fitting in with the phase your organisation is currently in.
Kruger's strength lies in its combination of forward-looking (restructuring) advice and the implementation power of experienced interim managers. The interim manager is there for your company and stays no longer than necessary. We focus on three themes:

How we operate

Always bespoke, always tailored

Our interim approach is never standardised and always swift. Because we know our interim professionals personally and actively monitor their availability, we can quickly propose the right people who are suited to the position, organisation and market. We work with a strong, carefully built network of interim CEOs, CFOs, CROs, controllers and project managers. This network has been pre-screened for experience and behaviour through years of collaboration and references. As a result, we know who is available when and what works for your phase.

Depending on the demand, we combine a targeted network approach with additional searches and, if extra visibility is desired, a short online campaign. Everything is discreet, transparent and focused on a quick start.

Network & targeted approach

We directly approach the best match from our own network of screened interim professionals (with current availability). Where relevant, we also engage the broader Kruger network in PE, finance and operations.

Additional (customised) search

If additional market research is required, we conduct a targeted, rapid search for profiles that are not yet in our network but are a good fit. We approach candidates personally and discreetly and keep the process streamlined and transparent.

On-line recruitment initiative (optional)

When extra visibility helps (for example, multiple positions at the same time), we deploy a short online recruitment campaign. Targeted at the right platforms, to reach both actively and passively available interim professionals.

Our approach during a process

  • T-0–48 uur – Intake & profile
    Together, we determine what is needed now and establish a clear profile (goal, scope, preconditions, stakeholders) that you can share immediately.
  • T-48 uur – Shortlist & coordination
    You will receive a shortlist (preferably two profiles) with role descriptions, relevant experience and availability. We will discuss the fit, organise interviews and request references where desired.
  • T-±5 working days – Start & rhyme
    Once selected and approved, the interim professional will commence their assignment. During the first week, we will establish the basic consultation rhythm and develop a time-bound plan (e.g. 30/60/90-day route) that suits your phase.
  • Progress & assurance
    The interim professional delivers according to plan; we remain available as a sounding board. The aim is to establish a working rhythm that continues in line with your organisation, so that you can continue without an interim professional.

The 13-week liquidity model is based on Excel. Thanks to the option of automatic linking to the ERP system, updating the data takes very little time and the depth of information is retained. Implementation is possible within a few days.
