Kruger Leadership Trails in partnership with the Foundation for Natural Leadership (FNL)


A stay in pristine nature has a great impact on your personal leadership development. It transforms leaders into a more natural, authentic leadership style. That is why in 2021 Kruger Interim Management and Executive Search, in partnership with the Foundation for Natural Leadership (FNL), started organising the ‘Wilderness Leadership Transformation Programme’.
This programme, which is open to senior executives and professionals from business, government and the non-profit sector alike, will run for four months culminating in a trail in the wilderness.Een verblijf in de ongerepte natuur heeft grote impact op de ontwikkeling van je persoonlijk leiderschap. Het transformeert leiders tot een meer natuurlijke, authentieke leiderschapsstijl. Daarom is in 2021 Kruger Interim Management en Executive Search in samenwerking met de Foundation for Natural Leadership (FNL) gestart met het organiseren van het “Wildernis Leiderschap Transformatie Programma”.

Led by a guide and two facilitators, we set off into the wilderness as a group, taking only what we strictly need.

We leave money, mobile phones, watches and laptops at home. Cut off from the outside world and surrounded by overwhelming nature, together we create an environment of trust and safety.

New insights arise from being away from your everyday surroundings. Nature acts as a source of inspiration for you to realise what is really important to you. You become more aware of your place in the whole through impactful moments. And it then helps you make choices that are important to you.

This leadership programme is a journey of discovery. Awareness of what has shaped you, where you stand in your life and what drives you. But also awareness that your head, your feelings and your heart are inextricably linked.

We will again organise two leadership programmes in autumn 2024. The wilderness trail will take place in Abruzzo National park (Italy).
